The visitor must fill in either one of two fields, their name or email address. If they click in either box the other box's value is erased. Ensures that when the form is submitted only one field contains a value. Also contains validation that makes sure both fields are not empty.

This JavaScript function allows you to set the value of a select tag without having to know its position in the list. In the sample above, type in a letter of the alphabet and then click on the find button. In this particular case, the function call
Select_Value_Set('select_set_value.letters', 'a')
would cause 'alpha' to become selected.

This script will warn users if they leave a page after they've made changes in (one of) the form(s) and give them the opportunity not to leave (so they can save the data. Very handy for web-applications!

This cross-browser slider is easy to incorporate in your web site. It's designed with a combination of (X)HTML, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and JavaScript. They are fast and compact. They do not contain any image elements or applets. This minimizes the number of server requests and keeps the page size to a minimum. The sliders below uses the default stylesheet, except for the colors. They differ a little in funtionality though. The slider is a good alternative to the text input tag in (X)HTML, when the expected value is limited to a certain interval and/or when only a limited number of values in the interval are allowed. Adding a slider is as easy as adding an HTML element. Settings are easy to modify with a few attributes of the slider element. No javascript is needed within the document body. The slider can be styled with Cascading Style Sheets CSS (inline, in the document head or in a separate file).

This is a simple but effective script for extending your textarea with a maxlength attribute, so the user's input cannot exceed a certain number of characters. Works with any number of textareas on the page.
