Realtime chat script. A place where you can talk with the visitors just like in live conversation, not having to wait the page to be refreshed. Supports unlimited number of rooms and smiley icons. There is a banning system to keep the unwanted people away. Has full cyrillic support. The needed information is sotred in text files, so no MySQL or any other database is required to run the chat script. The script is easy to setup and configure. Ot has simple and light, good-looking design. Works with the directive "register_globals" set to ON or OFF.

Chatter Box is a very accomplished and slick chat script with multiple features such as admin kicking and banning, gestures, bad word filter, banners and smilies. It has an admin panel that will allow you to manage your chat users sensibly but it also has two unique features - banners and gestures.

phpSHOUT is a very basic shoutbox which is based on a flat file database. It has many features and highly customisable. A shoutbox is very much like a guestbook. With a shoutbox visitors can leave messages, and comment on other vistors comments.
